Chrome Extension Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 25, 2026
This policy explains how the Breakly Chrome extension handles information.
Information collection
The Breakly Chrome extension does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information, browsing history, page content, authentication information, or analytics data.
Local storage
Breakly stores only timer durations, the draggable panel position, and current timer state in Chrome's local and session storage on your device. This information is used solely to provide the browsing and break timer and is not sent to Breakly or any third party.
Website access
Breakly requests access to regular HTTP and HTTPS pages only to display its timer control and full-page break overlay. It does not inspect, collect, or retain the contents of those pages.
Remote code and data use
Breakly does not execute remote code and does not use data for advertising, profiling, creditworthiness, or any purpose unrelated to its screen-break timer.
